My name is Lisa Faden. I’m an American expatriate living in southern Ontario with my wonderful Canadian husband and two kids.  I write about life, including breast cancer.

I have a PhD in Education with experience in Health Professions Education.  I use my knowledge of healthcare to explore the illness experience.  Over time, this blog has evolved from a holding spot into a place where I can document experiences, apply critical insight, and have a place to write in the middle of the night when sleep is elusive.
